Pentaerythritol is used as alcohol component in Alkyd resin for paint to increase chemical and water resistance, film hardness, adhesion, pigment dispersion, viscosity , luster or glossiness , drying speed. In addition, Pentaerythritol is also used in Polyurethane ,  modified rosin ester like Pentaerythritol Rosin Ester used as tackifier for adhesive , synthetic dry oil , PVC Stabilizer , Wax , Textile Agent , Mineral oil additive , surfactant and others
